TOP 5 MOST LOVEABLE CHARACTERS IN VIDEO GAMES

Let's face it: we've all been attached to some characters in video games. I've made a Top 5 list to point out the ones that you may have forgotten.

#1: Ratchet (Ratchet and Clank)

This gem of a series enlightened all of those who had the luck to get their hands on a PS2. Ratchet's funky character mixed with Clank's intelligent persona create the perfect video game 'duo'. There is a new one for PS4 coming out in Spring that I hope I'll be able to get my hands on, and even play on my YouTube channel!

#2: Spyro

This purple dragon made you feel awesome every time that you played this game. Even the newer Spyro is awesome in my opinion, which isn't really common for games that were re-booted this late. Spyro's determined yet jumpy character forced you to adore this little creature. Not only that, but he also has an adorable sidekick just like Ratchet: Sparx.

#3: Sackboy/Sackgirl (Little Big Planet)

Is it possible to NOT adore this character? I mean, even before I played this game I was already in love with this character. This little fella brought us one of the most entertaining game series of all time, and for that, this character gets a place on my list today.

#4: Kirby

Not only did this pink ball of happiness bring us some awesome games, but it also was most people's favorite character in Super Smash Bros. He was litterally overpowered: the ability to get anyone's powers just by sucking them. (Don't even think about that you perv) Kirby is by far one of my favorite video game characters of all time. One of my favorites was Kirby's Epic Yarn, and even if these games aren't high graphics and FPS, they give you the best co-op time you've ever had.

#5: Sonic & Friends

Sonic is just classic. He has countless games based on him, some good and some bad... But probably the one that I played most was Sonic Unleashed. I included 4 of the Sonic characters here, and I'm sorry for all of those who like Amy... Yeah I didn't put her in. Sonic is really cool. I mean, look at that pace! I remember that I used to have dreams about being him, and how I would somehow get the ladies by BEING SONIC. There you go guys: the key to getting the girls has been released.

Tails is just the happy one, just like me! You always need a bit of jumpy happiness in your life, and tails brings that to you in every game. He can fly. F*cking fly. That's sold to me directly. If there's any way to get over obstacles, flying is the best way for me.

Knuckles is the boss. He's the one that I always wanted to be, but my brother took instead. I mean, look at 'dem guns! He's like the gangster of them all; still not my favorite though.

I was always Shadow for everything. He's just such a badass. As a kid, I always thought he was the coolest looking, fastest, and just plain old best. I even used him for the summer and winter Olympic Games... Yeah, those AMAZING games for the Wii. He was just my idol back then, which I have no regrets for. Look at me now: all awesome and sh*t. For everyone else, there was always the fight in between who was better: Sonic or Shadow. It was a rivalry stronger than anyone knows today, stronger than Ral Madrid and Barcelona, stronger than the Yanks and the Sox; but we both know who the real winner is.

All of the characters from the Sonic franchise were awesome, (sorry Amy) and together, they were by far the most inspirational group of video game characters that I ever played with.
